About us
Rosswag Engineering specializes in additive manufacturing using selective laser melting (SLM® / LPBF) in a holistic and in-house process chain. This enables the efficient and economical production of functionally optimized metal components from many different alloys, such as materials based on steel, nickel or aluminium. The service portfolio ranges from tool production and prototypes with small quantities to the series production of functional components and specific consulting for the qualification of materials and parameters in an individual process chain.

The service portfolio ranges from toolmaking and prototype production for small quantities to series production with specific consulting services for the qualification of materials, process parameters and individual process chains for sophisticated parts.
With in-house expertise in CNC machining and material analysis, Rosswag ensures optimum quality and precision at every stage of production. Our comprehensive approach enables us to meet the most demanding customer requirements in various industries with an internal process chain.

Additively manufactured prototypes and series
The additive manufacturing of metal components in our integrated process chain in accordance with the highest quality standards has been certified by our long-standing partner TÜV SÜD. Contact us if you need AM services in reproducible high quality, even for large quantities. With our modern 3D metal printing machinery (SLM 280 2.0 machines from NIKON SLM Solutions), we have the flexibility to implement smaller projects in special materials and economical high-end series.
Material qualification for SLM / LPBF
We qualify known and new materials for metal 3D printing up to series production readiness! The in-house process chain at Rosswag enables the world's fastest material qualification for the LPBF process. Our services range from the atomization of individual alloys to metal powder, through complex parameter studies (design of experiments), to the comprehensive analysis of test specimens. All work packages can be realized in very short cycle times. Only with us will you receive initial material qualification results within 3 to 4 weeks.
Metal powder for additive manufacturing
We were the first service provider in the world to be certified by TÜV SÜD for our QM system and the associated process chain for the production of metal powder for additive manufacturing. Obtain individual metal powders of the highest quality for your additive manufacturing processes. With our atomizer, we can also atomize your primary material to order or adjust individual alloys in the crucible. Are you looking for a reliable supplier for larger quantities of standard powder? With our expertise, we also qualify and trade large quantities (several tons) for common standard materials.
