Nickel-based alloys and metal 3D printing are an ideal combination, as these high-performance materials are particularly suitable for demanding applications in the aerospace, chemical and power generation industries due to their excellent corrosion and high-temperature resistance. Metal 3D printing enables precise processing of these difficult-to-machine materials and allows the production of complex, lightweight and optimized geometries that would be almost impossible to achieve using conventional manufacturing methods. The additive manufacturing process also reduces material waste and shortens development times, which further increases the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of nickel-based alloy production.

Our metal 3D printing systems, based on Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) technology, process a wide variety of metal materials. The nickel-based materials used can meet every requirement of your components in the areas of prototyping, toolmaking, special applications and series production. With over 50 qualified metal materials, Rosswag Engineering offers a globally unique selection and therefore the right material for many metal 3D printing applications.

The classification of materials in Technology Readiness Level (TRL) shows the degree of maturity of a material from initial qualification to series production.
