Stainless steel | 1.4906 | X12CrMoWVNbN10-1-1
Description
The heat-resistant steel 1.4906, also known as X12CrMoWVNbN10-1-1, impresses with its outstanding creep resistance, high strength and excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures. Its special alloy with chromium, molybdenum, tungsten and vanadium makes it ideal for use under extreme thermal and mechanical loads. It is preferred in power generation, particularly in steam power plants and gas turbines, for highly stressed components such as boiler tubes, turbine blades and high-pressure pipes. Metal 3D printing using Laser Powder Bed Fusion allows complex, heat-resistant components to be precisely manufactured from 1.4906, enabling innovative and durable design solutions.
