Description

The high-temperature martensitic steel 1.4923 is characterized by its excellent temperature resistance, high strength and good toughness. It is frequently used in applications that are exposed to extreme thermal and mechanical loads, such as in power generation, aerospace and turbine construction. Thanks to its good resistance to creep deformation and oxidation, 1.4923 is ideal for high-temperature components that require a long service life. With the help of metal 3D printing using the Laser Powder Bed Fusion process, precise, highly resilient and complex geometries can be created from 1.4923, resulting in innovative and efficient solutions for demanding industrial applications.
