Nickel Alloy IN625 in Qualification for PED 2014/68/EU – Including Fatigue Data up to 800 °C! 🔥#MaterialsMonday
Material qualification is essential for ensuring the reliability of additively manufactured components, especially for demanding applications. Our latest project focuses on Nickel Alloy IN625, currently in qualification according to the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU).
To enable safe application in high-temperature environments, we are conducting extensive material testing, including:
✅ Fatigue data up to 800 °C for long-term performance evaluation
✅ Mechanical and microstructural characterization to verify material integrity
✅ Application-specific testing to ensure non-destructive testing methods and weldability
With this qualification, we aim to expand the possibilities of metal AM in energy and chemical industries, where high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance are critical. Stay tuned for more updates!
