Wärmetauscher High performance heat exchangers

Together with our partners Hülsenbusch Apparatebau and the IfT in Hannover, new high-performance heat exchangers for applications up to 1000 °C were developed as part of the MultiSchIBZ research project. The heat exchangers are used for thermal management in SOFC fuel cell modules. The heat transfer capability can easily be increased by a factor above 4 per m³ of installation space compared to conventional heat exchangers. 💪Besides fuel cells, they are also very well suited for hydrogen applications or other industries where high power densities and low pressure losses are required in a small installation space.
