As part of the public research project AluScal, we’ve qualified a new Aluminium-Scandium alloy specifically developed for the needs of Metal #AdditiveManufacturing.
Now we’ve taken the next step:✅ Successfully printed the first real application parts – Manual On Tank Valves (MOTV) for hydrogen systems.
Why it matters:
This high-strength, lightweight alloy opens new possibilities for hydrogen mobility and pressure-critical components in AM – combining material innovation with real-world #MetalAM application.
