FAQ

Metal powder properties 3D printed parts

More about materials

The choice of metal powder has a major influence on the properties of the printed part, such as mechanical strength, density, porosity, corrosion resistance and surface quality. The metal powder must be suitable for the LPBF process, i.e. it must have high purity, a uniform grain size, good flowability and low moisture. Rosswag Engineering offers a globally unique variety of materials, which includes many different alloys that have been specially developed or qualified for the LPBF process. The selection of the appropriate metal powder depends on the customer's requirements and the application.
